I also tried something new this year....strawberry butter! It was great on toast and made a wonderful addition to our breakfast! Super easy to make. The key is making sure your butter is room temperature; otherwise you'll have lots of clumps.
Strawberry Butter

4 T. butter, softened1/3 strawberry jam (I used homemade jam)1/4 c. fresh strawberries2 T. sugar1 t. vanilla
In your blender, blend or puree butter until smooth. Chill and serve with bread or rolls.
